Cut Day — Privacy
What we store
Cut Day keeps one account record and one game state per player:
- Email address — used to sign in, and to reach you about your account. Nothing else.
- Display name — shown to other players on the weekly leaderboard.
- Password — stored only as a salted hash; nobody, including us, can read it back.
- Game state — your roster, lineup, coins, coaches, bids, match results and Cut Day reports.
Player photographs and NFL statistics come from third-party sports data feeds and describe real athletes, not you.
What we do not do
No analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no third-party trackers, no cross-site cookies, no device fingerprinting, no location, no contacts, no microphone, no camera. The app sets one session cookie so you stay signed in, and stores a small amount of data in your browser (your last match id, your locker view preference, whether you dismissed the fullscreen tip).
Who sees it
Your display name, tier and weekly score appear on the in-game leaderboard. Nothing else about your account is shown to other players, and nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Delete my account. That removes your roster, coins, coaches, bids and reports for good. If you cannot reach that screen, email us and we will do it for you.
